Edited in Marvel Studios Legends: Guardians of the Multiverse (2023). I enjoyed the first season more than the second. The first season had a driving narrative force anchored by the Ultron-Watcher storyline that resulted in a satisfying ending. The second season didn’t have the same overarching plot, as the episodes felt much more separate from each other. I enjoyed certain episodes, especially the first one with Nebula joining the Nova Corps, as I felt like it had a very steampunk sci-fi vibe that I enjoyed. I also enjoyed the episode involving Hela and the 10 rings. I felt like it did a good job of basically mimicking the plot of the first Thor movie, but with Hela as the main protagonist. I really enjoyed the action in season two, but the pacing in both seasons is very fast. This is understandable since they’re trying to pack an entire story into a 30-minute runtime. That said, it’s so fast that the show doesn’t really take a breather and absorb the different story beats… especially the dramatic ones. Overall, I felt like season two was more boring than I expected. Season one was an 8, but I’m going to downgrade the series as a whole to a 7 after finishing season two.
